This is one of those party questions that you get and depending on what it is that you do, it is an easy one to ask. My job is a Product Manager. The problem with that is often people just look at you with crossed eyes and instantly want to change the subject, because they really don't know what it is. And to be honest, I have often struggled with that it is exactly that I do.
I have filled both the role of Project Manager and now Product Manager and while those are fairly similar, they are also quite different as a mindset and focus. That doesn't make one better or worse then the other - they are just different.
This is a great explanation of what the two roles are. Now I just have to condense this down to a 2 minute or less answer so that I can use it when that question comes up.
