Very cool - old-school

This is a new moleskin that allows the notebook to be mailed. I like the concept of it and the tangibleness of notes. Imagine actually writing someone a note and sending it to them. By hand? Cool.

Want to be a better person?

Then you need to position yourself to be awed.

At least that is what this study says and it would seem to make sense.

Business cards

This is something that I really think is a dying breed of letting people know who you are and what you do. I have been handed quite a few business cards and handed out quite a few of my own. Most of those I am sure didn't do anything outside of line a desk drawer for awhile or maybe serve as a book mark. Where we mostly communicate online, it would seem that this is a dead means of letting people have our info.

But on the other hand, if you are going to have cards, at least make the memorable. This is a great post that shows off some examples of this.

Great new show: Unchained Reaction

This is a pretty sweet show from Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters. It pits 2 teams against each other using the same materials to create a series of machines that convey a common thought. Last week was 'heavy vs. light' and the teams created some interesting and creative ways to express that. Expect lots of building random things and of course some explosions. Great fun. There is something incredible about a life that still has impact years later. Benjamin Franklin is one of those people. Everything from being one of the most influential founding fathers, to playing with kites in storms, being on the $100 bill, to publishing newspapers, Ben Franklin lived an amazing life. And then I learned about this.
And He got to a whole new level of amazing.
