Perry Noble makes the case that we should approach our weight as much as a spiritual discipline because it effects our health. The thing I like when reading and listening to Perry is that he doesn't take a long time to get to a point.
Take this statement for instance: "I have heard self-righteous Christians proclaim, “Alcohol has never touched my lips” when it is also obvious that a treadmill has never touched their legs."
I have felt this a little bit as my belly was starting to creep over my belt buckle last year. It has been work and while I am not down as much as others (including Perry) I can say that I feel much better and it is nice to fit into your clothes better.
