Album to check out: Breakfast in bed

For the classic songs, when someone tries to rework them or record them outside of the original often times it makes you cringe and go 'what were they thinking?' But Joan Osborne's latest disc 'Breakfast in bed' isn't one of those. This disc sounds like you found a record in your attic that dates back to the mid-70s. There are some songs that have been done a million times like 'Midnight train to Georgia' or 'What becomes of the brokenhearted' that might make you think about cringing or even getting bored before you have given it a listen. But get over all of that and give it a spin, these songs are done well and are worth your time investment to check out.
