News travels fast and furious on the internet. While this can be a scary thing in some cases because of all of the urban legends that sometimes take on a life of their own. This is also a good thing when it gets the word out about lamo companies that don't realize how dumb there responses are.
Where CompUSA has been taking it in the shorts lately from Best Buy you would think they would have responded a little better then this. But the short of it is they sold an empty box during one of their closeout sales and when the customer attempted to get a refund they said, "no dice."
Now I am sure they will come around and probably do the right thing..... one can only hope? But in the mean time they are going to get trashed online. And you know what? I say, good going. This kind of behavior and response is totally what should sink their business.
