The "Cruise"

If you live in the Rochester, MN area, You need to come out to watch The "Cruise" next summer. This is an annual event that helps to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.

There is something about reaching out and helping those in need that moves you to realize that the world is a big and sometimes scary place, but you have the opportunity to make it a better one.

This year was the 7th annual motorcycle ride and fund raiser and $89,224 was given to the house to help make kids who need medical attention a little easier. This event has become the biggest fund raiser that the Rochester Ronald McDonald House has.

Every year to hear the rumble in the distance like a gigantic storm is rolling in and then to watch as motorcycle after motorcycle comes rolling down the street - if you haven't been there - YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!! This year was especially moving as the ending ceremony was opened by bagpipes playing 'Amazing Grace' to remember the children who have passed away.

There is probably not a person alive who has not been touched in some way by cancer, and that is why we ride, that is why we give, that is why we are there.
