I had a meeting today and something I noticed about the presenter was that they never made eye contact. Or if they did it was for a split second and then quickly moved to looking around the room. This isn't as big of a deal if there is a large crowd that is being presented to, but this was a small meeting room with only several individuals there.
I am not saying that I want someone to bore into my soul, but making eye contact helps to make sure that people are listening to your message and that they are understanding it. The glazed over look means that they are not.
