Secrets to success

There is nothing that people like more then secrets. It makes us feel like there is a shortcut to get where or what we want. These secrets are even better if they come from someone who is or has been a success. 37 signals has a great post about some of the secrets that have made Amazon a success.

Some that jumped out at me were:
Work from the customer backward. Focus on value you want to deliver for the customer.
There’s bound to be problems with anything that produces hype before real implementation.

The entire list is great. They are tough to actually do an apply, which makes these sorts of secrets ones that actually work - not a so-called shortcut.
