This seems to happen all the time. A new phone or PDA or some new cool tech device will be released and almost before it hits the streets you have the ability to buy a jewel encrusted bling option for some off the charts amount of money. Does anyone actually buy this stuff? For the ridiculous amounts of money that they want for them it seems like you would just buy more of the same not just one. Also with the speed at which technology changes, why would you want to lock in, even in a bling-bling type of way to something that is going to be outdated in about 3 months?
It just doesn't make sense. Or maybe I just don't have the type of income to even come close to this sort of thing making sense.....
