I have blogged about Amazon MP3 in the past - which kicks iTunes butt in pricing and completely DRM free songs. You can also get an email each week on new releases and deals that they are offering, but another area that Amazon MP3 is awesome is that they give you anywhere from 5 to some weeks 10 free songs. These are usually new or otherwise unknown (at least by me) artists and it has been a fun and very cheap way to increase my musical collection and taste.
This week is especially good in that the songs are really cool.
Deer in the Headlights song - Talk about - kind of a strange 50's rock song with modern fuzzy guitars.
WisperTown 2000 - Old Times - is a folky sing along song.
And there are 7 other free songs this week! So get out there and get them. Expand your musical horizons.
