Thoughts on presentations: Bumper slides

This was an interesting post about how annoying it is to see a presentation where the company's logo is on every slide. Instead he makes the argument that you should only show your logo on 'bumper slides' the first and last. This was a pretty interesting thought in that I am required to use our logo on every slide unless it is an internal presentation. What are your thoughts about other things that 'clutter up' the screen and distract or annoy people away from your main focus?
