Thoughts on why you do what you do

I go to work each day because I get paid. But more then that I go to work because there is the posibility to create something new - to be part of a team that is taking ideas from all over and brining them to life and then releasing them on the web to help organizations get an idea of how their populations health is and also give them tools to help them move the dial towards healthy behavior and condition management.

I am part of a team that continues to attempt to make something new. And that is scary, exciting, and at times frustrating. But there is always fun and it is easy to see that I am part of something that is bigger then me and will hopefully improve lives.


Which is probably why Seth's post this morning really resinated with me. The difference between making and taking. What are you doing? Is it exciting? Fun? Or are you just trying to take?
