I had posted before that one of the things I got for my birthday was a gift card to Sushi Itto in town. I was kind of nervious because it isn't like Rochester, MN is right off an ocean or anything. But Janelle and I met some friends there on Friday to have a 'great adventure'.
The atmosphere reminded me of someplace in San Francisco or something. It was long and narrow with a lot of expose brick work on the wall. But very hip and cool.
First off the server wasn't real helpful, I got more information from just reading the menu then asking what different things where, but we were on an adventure so we just plowed right in and ordered some rolls and just waited to find out what it was that we got.
We started off with the Dragon, Godzilla and Rock in Roll rolls. The Rock in Roll was by far the favorite of the three - it was drizzled with some chipolte sauce that just really 'rocked'.
We finished the night by trying the Rainbow roll which has a bunch of different ingredents - but the hit of the night was the Rock in Roll.
All of the food was amazing, and the bill wasn't even that off the charts high for the night.
So overall it was a major two thumbs up. So go there!!
