Learn from your success...

This was an interesting post that got me thinking....  the essence was that learning from your failure is overrated. And while you can still learn from failure, you really should focus on learning from your successes. I think this ties in well with the 'focus on your strengths' from Marcus Buckingham. In that you should continue to work and improve on the things that you are really good at so that you can become the rock star that you can be rather then chipping away at the things that you are not 'wired' for so that you can suck not quite so much in those areas.

I think it is easy to focus on your failure and over review them because those are the things that get stuck in your head. But the idea that you really should be doing the same thing and maybe even more so to your successes...   that was a cool idea.

Thoughts?

Romans 5:2andchange...
And we[b] rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we[c] also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

I guess it really depends on how we define success...
