Time waster: Mob Wars

This Facebook application is something that shouldn't work - it is a text based role-playing game. These haven't changed that much since I first played Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy which was a fun text based DOS game I remember playing on my C-64.

Some things have been added, there are more options and there are a little more graphics, but for the most part - it is the same. Just a scenerio that you make decisions on and you see the results via text.

Mob Wars however brings you in as you step into the role of being a mobster. You can do 'jobs', attack other mobs, buy up weapons and real estate. As you get experieince then you go up levels. In only a week I am at level 19 - not sure that it is very high, but it is addictive. Trying to figure out if I should be using my money to bulk up my weapons cashe or buy up land, and trying to figure out why other mobs keep attacking me.....   it is a major time waster - but a fun one!
