Don't be that guy

The jerk. The one who knows a lot about technical stuff but is a drag on everyone around them. To quote Seth:

"Deep technical competency is overrated compared with the ability to make excellent decisions and to create a culture where forward motion is valued and personal initiative is rewarded."

 There is probably a jerk that we all work with. If you are in a position to - get rid of them. If you are that person - STOP! You are not helping anyone.
