Book Review: Have a bit of Faith

This is the recent book by the author of 'Tuesdays with Morrie' and 'One more day' and others. This book follows several years in Mitch's life where he was learning about his rabbi so that he could deliver the eulogy at his funeral.
During this time Mitch learns quite a bit about life, purpose and of course faith. There is also a parallel story about Henry who becomes a pastor and leader of a homeless program in Detroit.

This story moved me on so many levels I doubt I will be able to put it into words. The honesty and openness that is expressed here is incredible. So many basic questions are asked 'Why do bad things happen to good people', 'So what about other religions' and others. And while this book doesn't have answers, it resonated with me. Because I am not sure that there are concrete answers for all of life's deep questions. It is in the journey that we grow and learn.

If you have a free afternoon, pick this book up. Be prepared to shed a few tears and contemplate some big thoughts afterwords though.
