I love this time of year

I know that it is cold and there can be wicked dumps of snow (like the last couple of days), but I love this time of year. The hope that this season brings, believing in something new. Through the gray and dark days that lead up to Christmas, there is still something that you carry with you that you know that brighter days are coming. Maybe it is the lights on the tree, or maybe it is the candles that are lite around the house. This is a time of new starts, of family and friends.
