Make sure people get it

My job often requires me to get up in front of a group of people and present a vision, direction, feature or function or even a full-blown application. The problem is that we are often bombarded with information all the time and a PowerPoint with tons of bullet points is boring. So how do you cut through the noise and present something that 'sticks'?
