Conflicted

With the news that a person who has been a figure-head and a symbol for terrorism against our country has been killed, there was a rush of excitement but at the same time I am internally conflicted. That is because I do not believe that it is ever right to celebrate death. It makes us less human to do so. We should be more then that. But at the same time a person should have to pay for their actions and crimes.

So while I am happy that justice has been served, I am sad that death is the focus. There are probably better ways to say this, but this is what I have now.
