I had seen this new way of structuring a desktop featured on TechCrunch or some like blog awhile ago and then forgot about it. But it was on the TED video podcast (which you need to subscribe to if you can, even if you never watch it, you will feel smarter by being associated with TED).
I love this concept of having the virtual desktop reflect attributes of our physical world. It only makes sense. My hope is that they actually release this thing and not let it just be a cool idea.
