Movie Review - Michael Clayton

We watched Michael Clayton over the weekend. I have to say it was pretty confusing, but if you were ok just sitting back and letting the story happen around you without trying to figure out who is good, who is bad, and who is that person again... then it is a great movie.

What you find out is that most of the characters are tainted at some level. Everyone is in over their heads and they all have a bit of darkness inside. The story develops in parallel with a story that Michael's son is trying to get him to read. Where all of these warriors have come together but no one can really say who they are because they might be surrounded by their mortal enemies.

I came away from this movie really mulling it over and I have to say it is smarter then the average film. The ending is classic as well.

So watch it! Just don't try to follow too close, let the story come to you.
