Most kids that I know are somewhat ashamed of their parents. Mostly it is because of the child's own unsettled feelings about themselves. But there are also quite a few cases where they should be.
For all of the disruption that occurs and gets blamed on TV, Movies, Music and other misc stuff, I think there are parents that are just as much to blame for their kids crappy behavior.
Now I understand the need or desire that parents have to protect their children, but at some point the parents are the problem. In this case, I would be ashamed to have my mother going all nuts. In a Chuck E. Cheese no less.
